Doesnt any one remember what they use to call the area between 0% an 8 1\2 % unemployment?

it use to be called full employment.

so why is it when employment levels are at 94% isnt that looked at as a good thing?

at the end of carters terms it was at 11% unemployment rate , but yet those that have short term memory lose(put down the pot) have forgot we are in a good time in america

so basicly my question is why is 11% under a democrat not bad or remembered but 6 % under a republican is the end of the world?

Ah that my friend is called selective posturing.

It is only pointed out as a being a

%26quot;bad thing%26quot; when the dems/liberals are convincing their minions into a false sense of looming doom if they are not elected.

6% is perfectly normal in a healthy economy.

You notice they also promote the %26quot;mortgage crises%26quot; with just 1% currently in default (the large majority of which are subprime loans taking out by people who were irresponsible to begin with)

Dems only win when the country is hurting and wants an easy out. That%26#039;s why they rooted for the Iraq War to be a failure and then ignored it when the surge worked. It%26#039;s also why they say we are in a recession when I know enlisted soldiers who have flat-screen TVs and Escalades.|||Allow me to answer your question before Yahoo deletes it!

Democrats praised Clinton in 1996 for a 5.6% unemployment rate yet bashed Bush when it was 4.7%.

You see, liberals despise individual prosperity, private property ownership, and the family. Private property and individual wealth is integral to individualism, and the enemy of the liberal. Liberals believe that wealth is static - anyone who makes money must be stealing it from someone else. Liberals dream of a return to a centralized, 1940%26#039;s urban environment. We all ride the bus from a small, dirty, big city apartment to an 8-5 union job. Yet, the liberal typically chooses a career which produces nothing of value - lawyer, bureaucrat, %26quot;activist%26quot;, etc. - and uses government to extract the wealth of others.|||I remember in the microeconomics class I took that 4%-6% unemployment was %26quot;normal%26quot;.

It%26#039;s funny that the media is trumpeting a 5.1% unemployment, when that is still better than half of Clinton%26#039;s term.
