There is no such thing as %26quot;inflation.%26quot; There is only %26quot;deflation.%26quot; That is, the value of goods and services have remained constant. One gold coin today has the same value as one gold coin 2,000 years ago. One ton of steel has the same value as one ton of steel did 100 years ago.

The more currency that is in circulation against the amount of goods available the less valuable our currency is.
